Change Your Thinking - Change Your Life!
We are an open, welcoming spiritual community, teaching the life-enhancing principles of love, joy, wholeness and freedom.

At the Positive Living Centre of Victoria, we subscribe to the beliefs that God is all there is and that we are co-creators with God, creating our own experience of Life in accordance with our beliefs. We study the teachings of many great leaders and masters and each of us hears the truth in our own way. Within that broad framework, each of us arrives at our own understanding.
Our mission is... "To contribute to the spiritual evolution of ourselves and the world."

The Positive Living Centre tithes to the community each year. One-tenth of the monies donated to the Centre are given back to 5 or 6 not-for-profit organizations selected by the Centre Board. We invite representatives of the selected organizations to come and tell us about their work in the community. This work not only supports the organizations to which we give our tithe, it also supports our understanding of the spiritual principle of giving generously, knowing that we cannot outgive God, divine Love. To see our gifts in action and hear the good that they do is truly finding our gift returned one-hundred fold.

This year, we have tithed to:

- Bridges for Women
- HepCBC
- Sierra Club

January's Affirmation
As I now clarify my intentions for this new year, I set the Law of Mind in motion giving form to my desires. And So It Is.

Within is a place I need to go,
To sit, to rest, to relax and know.
That all the world is as it should be,
nothing need be moved by me,
except my own inner plane,
which I am guided how to train,
to use my thought to bring change in me
for I'm the only one I can free.

Affirmations for Living

The endless flow of abundance evident in nature also flows through me, nurturing, nourishing and bringing ease in living. And so it is.

I affirm that my life is directed by the living Christ within me. I yield to it’s miracle working power. I am at peace. And so it is.

I know that my choices are the building blocks of my life. I therefore make choices that are grounded in wisdom, understanding and love. And So It Is.

Through thought, I have access to the inexhaustible supply of all good. I rejoice in this truth and I think only abundant thoughts. And So It Is.

I affirm that my desires are God pressing for greater expression through me. I rejoice knowing I am divinely guided in there fulfillment. And So It Is.

A pattern of Gods perfection is at the center of all that I am. My declaration of this truth draws this perfection forth as my reality. And So It Is.

I recognize a transcendent Principal forever guiding, sustaining and inspiring my every thought and movement. In total trust I surrender and I let go. And So It Is.

I know I am Spirit in form, grounded in this knowing Universal abundance flows in, through and around me.I am blessed. And So It Is.

From the ever present good of God, I claim peace, love and joy as my reality now. And So It Is.

I am one with the Mind of God, in that Mind wisdom guides me and love sustains me. Grounded in this truth I know all is well. And So It Is.

I give thanks for the vision of love and peace I carry in my heart for myself and the world. In the gentle holding of this vision I make a difference. And So It Is.

I am awake and in awe of every day living. I give myself up to the beauty of each moment. And So It Is.

As I yield to the love, peace and joy of Spirit within me,I give birth to a calm peaceful mind and world. And So It Is

I welcome all my experiences knowing that each one contains within it an invisible good. I joyfully bask in this truth and lovingly surrender to the perfection of God's unfolding plan. And so it is.

At the core of my Being there is a well of perfect peace. As I draw freely from that well I bring peace to my world. And So It Is.

I know that God is the sum total of who I am, therefore the abundance God is mine. I claim it and I share it. And so it is.

I know that my life unfolds through the Christ within. I yield to its miracle working Power. I am at peace. And so it is.

The gifts of Spirit flow to me and through me unto the world. I am forever renewed. And so it is.

As I now consciously choose peace as my way of life, I am participating in the expansion of peace on earth. And So It Is.

I now choose to expand my faith. I am ready for the flow of good this expansion sets in motion. And so it is.

As I practice gratitude, I set up an energy field that draws to Itself Universal good, blessing every area of my life. And So It Is.

I know that I am one with a Universal Intelligence that only says YES. I now boldly request my good, knowing it is mine. And so it is.

I lovingly accept that the experiences of my life are my spiritual practice. I am fully present allowing Spirit to be revealed moment by moment. And so it is.

I live in a limitless possibility of abundance. This abundance is mine by right of consciousness. I accept and give thanks. And so it is.

Today I allow the love of God in me full expression, wherever I walk, in my wake this vibration of love blesses and heals. And so it is.

I know that where I am is where I need to be, therefore I melt into this moment, knowing that all is well. I am at peace. And so it is.

Today I use my Spirit centered creativity with wisdom and compassion, for the good of myself and others. And so it is.

Today I listen to the call of my heart. I discern it's meaning and act vigorously on those ideas that bring forth more love and more joy. And So It Is.

I trust the creative Power of life. I allow my faith to support me and the love of the universe to guide me. All is well. And so it is. Amen.

I am the builder of my life, I am in charge of my destiny. Grounded in Spirit every area of my life magnifies God. And so it is.

I know the perfection of my life experiences at this moment and I commit myself to growth and learning in every moment. And so it is.

I am in alignment with the eternal expansion of this magnificent Universe. I welcome and embrace growth and change, knowing that divine order guides my affairs. And so it is.

I recognize and acknowledge the perfection in all that I see and experience. All is well in my world right now. And so it is

I am the director of my Universe. All the unlimited power of the universal energy surrounds me, waiting to respond. And so it is.

I rise anew to be all I can be in this moment - innocent, worthy, whole, complete and perfect. Right Now. And so it is.

God is above, below, around and within me. God is Love. I dedicate myself to finding the Love above, below, around and within me. And so it is.

Each moment offers a new beginning. Each moment is the moment of power. I release all attachment to the past and the future and focus myself in this magic moment of now. And so it is.

I am willing, right now, to emerge from all error, from all confusion, from all limitation, and step into the glory that is my natural being. And so it is.

I am grateful at all times for all things, knowing that every moment and every circumstance offers me the opportunity to move closer to my full potential as a worthy and perfect child of God.

Like Jesus, I am a child of God. The Christ is born anew in me today. Through me, Wisdom, Peace and Love flow into my world. And so it is.
