The ceremony can include your own personally-written vows or readings if you wish, and if the family includes children of previous relationships they can also be included in the ceremony and the vows. Talk to Pat or Kim about incorporating the candle or wine ceremony. The service is performed at the location of your choice.

Remembrance Service
At the Positive Living Centre, we believe that the experience we call "death" is simply a moving to another experience of life, to a greater awareness in our on-going evolution. Nevertheless it is a time of sadness and sometimes huge transition for those left behind; this is often eased by being together with friends and loved ones to remember and celebrate the life of the person.

The minister guides the service by leading prayers, introducing music, inviting the audience to share memories and closing with an affirmative prayer which recognizes the unity and timelessness of all life. The service is performed at the location of your choice on a "love offering" basis.

Naming or Celebration of a New Life Service
The birth of a new baby is one of life's most joyous events and should be marked with a celebration. Our service is one in which the parents and God-parents make a commitment to the child to be aware of, to encourage and develop, and to remind the child of the Unity of all Life and to foster the child's connection with nature, with all human beings and with the infinite power and love that we call "God."

As gifts to the child, each attendee is invited to become aware of their particular talent and share this with the child. The service is performed at the location of your choice on a "love offering" basis.
